Miller Textile

Ackerberg has redeveloped the historic Miller Textile Building turning it into a signature destination in Northeast Minneapolis.  For nearly a century, the building was the headquarters of the Miller Bag company, who used the building to produce bags for flour companies, farmers, and other industries that were the foundation of Minnesota’s economy. Now headquarters to Stahl Construction and home of Headflyer Brewery, this building is ideal for users looking for an affordable and creative open office space that is highly flexible and well located.

Located along Hennepin Avenue just seconds from I-35W and with proximity to the Northeast commercial centers along Hennepin and Central Avenue as well as the University of Minnesota, the building has superb accessibility and visibility. The property has 80+ free off-street parking spaces, is served by public transit on Hennepin Avenue and is highly accessible by bicycle.

For this project, Ackerberg completely renovated the building into a creative class B office and retail space with the new infrastructure to serve today and tomorrow’s Minneapolis businesses. New windows, landscaping, plumbing, sprinkler, HVAC, and electrical systems create bright, welcoming, and efficient spaces for professional and creative businesses wishing to take advantage of the building’s unique environment. With a total of 48,500 rentable square feet available, there are many space configurations to suit various office user needs.
