Commission House: Project Update

We are very excited to share our first monthly update on Commission House! Significant progress has been made since closing on the acquisition. Though not all that apparent from the outside, the interior is completely demo’ed and much of the floor and roof structure has been rebuilt.

The existing historic wood floors have had their first round of sanding, and underground plumbing rough ins have begun. Milestone tasks for the next three weeks include:

    • Commence interior framing
    • Commence mechanical rough ins
    • Commence exterior storefront installation
    • Complete structural repairs/modifications
    • Complete elevator/stair shaft framing

As always, a sincere thank you to all of our project partners. Stay tuned for more exciting progress from Commission House!

A person does not have to be behind bars to be a prisoner. People can be prisoners of their own concepts and ideas. They can be slaves to their own selves.
