Location: Loring Park

Surrounding the Convention Center on the southern edge of downtown Minneapolis, the Loring Park Neighborhood is a walkable residential neighborhood of leafy streets, cultural attractions, historic apartments, and modern condominium towers bordering the verdant Loring Park.

Community Profile

With its active social & cultural life, the neighborhood is dotted with a wide range of restaurants, entertainment, retail, businesses, and six of the cities’ largest and most historic churches. The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis, MCTC College, Metropolitan State University, Dunwoody Institute, University of St. Thomas—Minneapolis, and the Walker Art Center & Sculpture Garden are all civic institutions that call this neighborhood home.  The crowning jewel is Loring Park, connected to Nicollet Mall by the Loring Greenway. It is the site of festivals, films & concerts and recreational & community building activities, and it offers a delightful setting for taking a stroll around the lake & beautiful urban gardens.

The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It can’t be organized or regulated. It isn’t true that everyone should follow one path. Listen to your own truth.
