The North Minneapolis community is bordered by Lowry Avenue North, the Mississippi River, Bassett’s Creek, and Theodore Wirth Park.
Near North is primarily residential, but also includes amenities such as a number of public and private schools, various businesses, nonprofits, social services, parks and places of worship. Health care facilities and community centers also find a home in Near North.
Ackerberg has deep roots in the Northside, and we have been involved in this neighborhood in the last few decades. We believe that this neighborhood is ideally situated and ripe for investment, and we look forward to finding more creative opportunities to get involved with this community. In the past decade, this area has focused on redevelopment.
