The community is bounded by the city limits of Minneapolis on the north and east, by the Mississippi River on the west, and irregularly by a combination of streets and rail lines on the south.
Blending a heritage of old architecture, classic housing, bustling main streets, and industrial centers with new residential high-rises, many new breweries, big-box retail, and an explosive art scene, Northeast offers many different opportunities. In recent years, the demographics of Northeast have become younger and simultaneously more diverse and creative. Even so, 79% of housing in the area is owner occupied which has continued to contribute to community stability.
Northeast is an intriguing market. With its thriving main corridors serving as the primary commercial activity centers, there are great building blocks for success that exist in this neighborhood. Change has been a constant in Northeast since it was first settled, and we continue to look for opportunities to help further the evolution of this original Minneapolis neighborhood.
