Commission House

Commission House’s rich history in retail was not lost in the recent renovation. Today, Commission House prominently features 9,500 square feet of retail space in Saint Paul’s prime Lowertown district, split between two wonderful tenants. Most exciting, the retail space is complimented and balanced out by 26 brand new yet charming apartment units on the 2nd and 3rd floors. All spaces bring an energetic rejuvenation to the existing character, while providing efficiency for the tenants.

MURAL:

Ackerberg engaged local artist, Aleisha Nelson (@artbyaleisha), to paint the “L-O-W-E-R-T-O-W-N” mural at Commission House. The mural is a nod to the Lowertown neighborhood including the Farmer’s market, CHS Field and the St. Paul Saints, and nearby Mears Park. The mural acts as a gateway and welcoming to the Lowertown Arts district and has been quite popular on Instagram and area residents alike.

Keep your behaviors positive because your behaviors become your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.
